The Beans Bag
This is where you store and organize products you'd like to buy. Your beans bag is accessible from anywhere in the site, simply by clicking the "beans bag" button located in the navigation bar up top.
Below, you will find a diagram of the beans bag display, explaining everything about it and how to use it. From your beans bag, you can change item quantities or remove items. You can also review
product images and see the total cost of all the items in your beans bag. To add a product to your beans bag, just click the "add to
beans bag" button, which appears at the bottom right of the product display (see diagram above).
*NOTE: In order for the beans bag to work properly, your browser must have cookies enabled.

Organization of our Site
Our site is organized into 4 different levels.
The first level of organization is "department" (such as haircare, skincare, etc.), and we have a different section of our site for each of our 7 different departments.
The department sections are accessible from our navigation bar, which appears at the top of every page. To get to a department section from anywhere in our site, simply click on
the department's name in the navigation bar. You will know you are in a department section if that button on the navigation bar is colored. In each department section, you will see
a description of what Beans Beauty has to offer, as well as several featured products.
The second level of organization is "class". These are the different types of products we offer in each department section. When you enter a department section,
a new navigation column will appear on the left of the screen. It has alternating colors of purple and gray. This column will display the different classes that fall within
the department you've selected. Simply click on one of the classes to select it. Once you've entered a class section, you will see more featured products that pertain specifically to
the class and department you've selected.
The third level of organization is "brand". This is where Beans stands out from the rest. We have an unbelievable number of product lines to offer you. After you've selected
a class, the navigation column on the left will display a list of all of the brands, or products lines, that Beans has to offer in the department section and class that you've specified.
Clicking on one of these brands will bring you to a new page with a brand image and description up top, followed by a listing of products. This is where you can see product information and images
and add products to your beans bag.
*Special Note on Sub-Lines:
In some instances, a brand has several distinct sub-lines which carry different types of products. If this is the case, instead of taking you directly to the products offered by the
brand you've selected, the site will prompt you to select a sub-brand. These links will appear directly below the brand information, towards the center of the screen. Simply click on
one of the sub-lines to continue with your journey.
The fourth level of organization is "subclass". This is a very specific field, and although not necessary in order to see products, it can help you to find exactly what
you're looking for. After you've entered a brand section, the navigation column on the left will display a list of all the subclasses that pertain to the products being displayed. Clicking
one of these links will not show you any new products, but simply narrow down your selection. This is especially useful if the brand you've selected has a large offering of products being
displayed.
Getting Around
There are two major methods of navigation on our site. The first is the navigation bar which appears at the top of each page. This is the easiest way to get to many different sections of our site.
The second major method of navigation is the links column that appears on the left of the screen after you've entered a department section. This dynamic column displays either classes, brands, or
subclasses, depending on what level of the site you're in.
Additionally, in each department section, you will see a "quicknav" navigation bar appear towards the top of each page. This text-link navigation bar shows you what level of the site you're in,
and what selections you've made to get there. You can click on any of these links to get back to that section. Also, when products are being displayed, you will see the product-counter appear on the right.
This informs you how many products are available in the section you've selected. Our site only displays 10 products per page, so if there are more than 10 products, you need to use this link to navigate
between the pages. The links will only be active if they appear in red. An example of the "quicknav" display is printed out below.
Shopping by Brand
Beans makes it easy to shop for your favorite product lines. From our home page (available by clicking "home" on the navigation bar), click on the link that says "Shop By Brand." This will take
you to a page that displays all of the brands we have to offer, throughout the site. Clicking on one of these brands will take you to a page that will display brand information and a selection of
featured products from the brand you've chosen. The navigation column on the left will show you exactly what types of products the brand has to offer, and clicking on one of those links will take you
to that specific product section.
When you're browsing the site, if you see a brand that interests you, you can click on the link that says "see more products from this brand", which will appear at the bottom of the navigation
column on the left. This will take you to that brand's page, which can lead you to all of the products the brand has to offer, throughout our different departments.
